, we are searching for their next Head of Strategic Finance & Funding (f/m/d).

Strategic role with direct executive management exposure | Zurich, Switzerland

Climate change and the reduction of CO2 emissions are among the greatest challenges of our time. That’s why Synhelion’s mission is to contribute to a net-zero transportation sector. We produce renewable synthetic jet fuel, diesel, and gasoline that can directly replace fossil fuels and are fully compatible with the existing global fuel infrastructure, internal combustion and aircraft engines.

In this high-visibility strategic role
, you will support the Co-CEO and CFO in shaping and executing the company’s capital strategy. The position plays a central role in continuously sharpening the company’s compelling investment case, preparing institutional investor interactions, supporting all funding activities (equity, debt, grants), and ensuring analytical rigor across all financing-related materials. You will own the group’s long-term financial plan, coordinate related internal work streams, and take a leading role in preparing the company for the anticipated liquidity event.

• Investment case and equity story:
  Refine and continuously strengthen the company’s capital narrative; translate strategy, market opportunities, and technology into a coherent and compelling equity investment case
• Investor material:
  Lead the preparation of equity and debt financing presentations, investment memoranda, and board materials; ensure full consistency between narrative and financials
• Financial business modeling:
  Develop and maintain the group’s integrated financial business model; conduct scenario analyses and support valuation positioning
• Funding activities:
  Support equity raises and infrastructure project debt funding; coordinate and integrate public funding and grant activities; work closely with external financial advisors and funding institutions
• Liquidity event:
  Take a leading role in preparing the company for the anticipated liquidity event (mid-term)
• Process coordination:
  Prepare executive management for investor meetings, structure Q&A frameworks, and coordinate investor interactions and due diligence processes

• Minimum 4 years of experience in top-tier VC/PE environment, investment banking, or strategy consulting with strong financing focus
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Excellent analytical and structuring capabilities
• Distinct communication and storytelling skills
• High ownership mindset with intellectual rigor
• Comfortable operating in a senior stakeholder environment
• English: C2 – Proficient

• Sound technical/engineering understanding is an advantage

• Direct exposure to executive leadership, Board-level and investor discussions
• Involvement in strategically significant funding initiatives (equity, debt, grants)
