Team

A&M's Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is one of the largest transaction advisory practices outside the Big Four, partnering with leading private equity firms and multinational corporates on high-profile deals across the full transaction lifecycle.

In Europe, our TAG professionals work on cross-border engagements spanning Switzerland, the wider EMEA region, and globally—collaborating closely with Managing Directors and senior leaders while gaining broad sector exposure.

How you will contribute
  • Work on multiple Transaction Advisory engagements in Switzerland & Europe, working closely with our Managing Directors
  • Prepare high-quality financial due diligence deliverables, including Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses, net working capital and net debt analyses, financial fact books, and cash flow and financing models.
  • Conduct market and competitive benchmarking to provide commercial context to diligence findings.
  • Assess and test business plans for plausibility, including revenue, margin, cash flow, and capital expenditure assumptions.
  • Support buy-side and sell-side M&A projects across national and international processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop clear, insight-led reports and client-ready presentations that highlight key issues, risks, and value-creation levers.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development and assist with proposal preparation and workplan design as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience contributing to Transaction Advisory (Financial Due Diligence) projects across a variety of sectors at a Big 4 audit firm
  • Strong academic record and graduated from a leading University or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for data, with confident command of MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP).
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
  • Excellent German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands‑on approach and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
