Zurich is seeking a dynamic Asia Market Strategist & Economist to partner closely with our Head of Asia Market Strategy & Economics. In this influential role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our macro view for the region, guiding the Zurich Group’s investment decisions and helping deliver standout returns.

• Analyze Asia macro developments with a strong equity and multi‑asset lens together with the regional head to develop macro views and investment strategies across Asia’s markets
• Produce macro forecasts, deep dives, and scenario analyses for selected countries in Asia
• Build and automate research workflows and quant‑based models using Python and AI tools
• Actively contribute to shaping team processes, tools, and culture

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in economics, finance, with the CFA being an additional asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in economics or financial market research, or multi‑asset investing
• Exposure to equity markets and investment decision‑making, with a market‑oriented mindset
• Solid Asia Pacific market knowledge
• Strong foundations in macroeconomic drivers and investment frameworks
• Hands‑on Python skills and practical use of AI in research workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
