As a Capital Management & Group Insurance Analyst, you will join a dynamic team at the heart of Julius Baer Group Treasury, driving the execution of the Group’s capital transactions, managing the liquidity of the listed holding company as well as supporting the insurance coverage of the Group wide programs. You will work with experts across Treasury, Risk, Finance, Legal, Operations, and more, enabling you to gain broad exposure while contributing to critical, high visibility deliverables.

As a member of the Group Funding team, you will play a key role with following main responsibilities:

• Driving the planning and execution of external and internal capital (including hybrid capital), as well as funding transactions of Julius Baer Group / Bank Julius Baer
• Supporting the internal dividends collection & planning process in accordance with local laws and regulations
• Preparing the execution of equity injections, capital reductions and/or debt financings of legal entities in close collaboration with tax, legal and local management (regional / divisional CFOs)
• Evaluating and potentially executing risk transfer transactions and asset backed funding transactions
• Managing the liquidity of the listed holding company (Julius Baer Group)
• Contributing to the Group insurance policies management with a focus on financial lines in cooperation with the insurance broker
• Helping the handling of employee DBO schemes (outside of Switzerland) in cooperation with the insurance broker
• Assisting in the relationship management of the Group’s key investment banks

We are looking for someone proactive, analytical, and ready to learn:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role or in a capital markets department of an investment bank
• Ideally, experience as project manager, including coordination of various stakeholders across functions
• Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Office, including building structured financial models in Excel and drafting high-quality presentations in Power Point
• Independent, resilient, and team‑oriented personality, able to perform under pressure while paying attention to details
• High social competence paired with excellent communication skills
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset, with track record of close collaboration across corporate functions and levels of seniority
• Proven experience in delivering high quality results to stringent deadlines through strict process management
• Willingness to cover responsibilities end-to-end, including operational tasks
• Fluent in English and German, any other language skill is a plus
