FP&A Business Partner

In this role as Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner you will be a strategic finance advisor, shaping the financial future of a fast-scaling, investor-backed HR tech business and turning financial insight into business outcomes.

This is a senior, forward-looking role with direct exposure to management and key stakeholders with financial modeling and analytics at its core. You influence decisions through analytical rigor, commercial financial scenarios, and a deep understanding of client profitability, pricing impact, pipeline forecasting, and CAC efficiency.

• Manage the financial planning, model and forecast cadence
• Build and improve high-quality financial models combining P&L structure with marketplace and CRM pipeline data, focused on client economics, pricing impact and acquisition efficiency
• Create business cases that quantify how pricing, product launches and marketing spend impact profitability, margins and cash outcomes
• Own and evolve unit-economic KPIs by turning client profitability, CAC payback, pipeline volume, pricing levers and product ROI into structured forecast and profitability frameworks
• Run scenario and sensitivity analysis to challenge assumptions and quantify outcomes
• Improve forecast logic, data automation and model accuracy
• Provide finance sparring for strategic clarity
• Work with insights supported by the internal data team owning core data flows and dashboards

• Decision-ready forecasts and scenario outputs
• Business cases influencing pricing, product, operation and marketing investment
• Client profitability and CAC efficiency frameworks improving margin and cash efficiency
• KPI reporting aligned to planning cycles
• Measurable improvement in volumes, profitability and acquisition efficiency

• Several years of relevant experience in finance, strategy or consultancy (typically –+ years) with strong modeling or FP&A exposure
• Excellent financial planning, forecasting and business case skills
• Experience building planning or reporting frameworks in high-growth environments
• Comfort blending marketplace data (CAC, pipeline, pricing, margins, client profitability) into financial models
• Structured thinking in ambiguity and confidence in cross-functional environments
• Fluency in both German and English is a must, French is nice to have
• Nice to have :
  Staffing / HR, Marketplace or Tech experience
