Investments Assistant Vice President Capital Markets

Your area of responsibility

As Capital Markets Assistant Vice President you will be driving the energy transition by supporting the Head of Capital Markets and deals lead on the financing of transactions and refinancing of existing assets. With your specialized knowledge in the infrastructure debt space you will be contributing to the financing process with the following responsibilities:

Financing execution:

• Working in the financing function within the investments team which is in charge of the structuring and raising of debt financings
• Supporting the origination, execution and structuring of all types of debt instruments on behalf of the investments team
• Monitoring and optimizing existing portfolio companies with regards to debt financing and structuring in close collaboration with respective asset owners
• Providing regular analysis of market updates to senior management and the investments team
• Further developing EIP's network of lenders (incl. banks, infrastructure debt funds, governmental agencies)

• Outstanding academic credentials from top-tier university or business school
• 3‑6 years of relevant infrastructure debt experience and strong network with international banks and other lending financial institutions
• Strong affinity for energy technologies and power markets with robust knowledge of corporate finance and accounting
• Familiar with investment structures, project financing and strong commercial and technical expertise with high affinity for energy technologies and power markets
• Expertise in complex financial modeling and valuation concepts
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to think conceptually
• Self‑motivated, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a positive can‑do attitude
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages, particularly German, are a significant advantage due to the focus on the Swiss and German markets
