This position reports to the Business Chief Financial Officer.

Your role and responsibilities:

Join a team that will embark on building and running the new Onestream consolidation and reporting tool for ABB Robotics. As the lead manager in the consolidation team, you will be designing and building new processes to enable the internal and external financial reporting of the Group. Leading up to the transition to Onestream, you will also be responsible for managing the consolidation output in the Legacy HFM system, ensuring that the legacy reports are complete through the final system transition date.

On an ongoing basis, you will verify that all reporting entities report their financial statements correctly, as required by the ABB Robotics US GAAP Accounting & Reporting Policies and, in the future, as required by Softbank IFRS reporting requirements. You will support the testing of the new consolidation system through reconciliation and consolidation activities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Lead the transition to the new Onestream consolidation system as part of the Finance Transformation Program.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS for both stand‑alone and Softbank reporting purposes.
  • Monitor and ensure that reporting units report the transactions in the specific areas of responsibility completely and accurately (Cash flow, Equity, Profit on Inventories, Acquisitions, Di vestments, Disclosures, etc.)
  • Work with the Financial Reporting Team in the preparation of the Soft Bank reporting and external stand‑alone reporting of financial information as lead and coordinated by the Financial Reporting Team.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Finance and Accounting Operations to ensure timely submission of financial information for consolidation
  • Prepare and document necessary consolidation adjustments and ensure all intercompany balances and unrealized profits are eliminated.
  • Manage foreign currency translation, ownership interests, consolidation hierarchy (legal and management), group chart of accounts, etc.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members or shared service centers and collaborate with external auditors to provide and clarify required information from the consolidation process

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Business Administration.
  • More than 10 years of experience in accounting and reporting in a multinational group and/or Big 4 audit with IFRS exposure.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and direct experience in consolidation accounting in a multi‑national environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and consolidation systems/logic;
    Onestream consolidation system experience a strong advantage.
  • Affinity for BI systems and open to learn new tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • A curious, solution‑oriented and hands‑on team player.
  • Familiar with or willing to work in an international, fast‑paced environment
