Rates and Credit Trader Assistant; f​/m​/d Temporary

In this role you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth experience across different asset classes with focus on rates and credits. We are looking for someone who would like to join our team as soon as possible. The following tasks will be part of your daily business:

• Assist our traders in managing and hedging ongoing trading activity related to client transactions
• Contribute to automation efforts by building practical, high‑impact solutions that enhance efficiency and are immediately deployable on the trading desk
• Work closely with Quant Analytics and Business Management to implement and extend pricing models, enabling payoffs and faster time‑to‑market for new products
• Collaborate with Sales to generate actionable trade ideas and identify emerging client demand in the market
• Provide daily support to Middle Office and Back Office teams in executing operational processes

• Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science with an excellent academic record
• Previous experience in financial markets, preferably in trading or structuring roles, with familiarity with quantitative models used in rates and / or credit markets, including pricing, risk assessment, and valuation frameworks
• Strong hands‑on coding skills, particularly in Python and VBA. Prior experience of building custom solutions using BQuant is an advantage
• Genuine enthusiasm for understanding global financial systems, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory dynamics
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset and initiative to drive projects forward autonomously
• A strong team player who collaborates effectively to achieve common goals
• Strong communication skills in English and German (French is a plus)
