Senior Proprietary Gas Trader

Are you a top-performing gas trader seeking full ownership of your strategies? Join BKW, where energy meets innovation. We're looking for a Senior Gas Trader with deep EU market expertise, strong risk skills and a proven track record to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

• You'll trade actively across European gas hubs such as TTF, NBP, PEG and PSV with a strategic and disciplined approach
• Experience trading Henry Hub is a plus
• You develop and refine strategies, read market signals and turn insight into action
• You manage risk with precision, keeping tight control of capital allocation and exposure
• You leverage cutting-edge tools and data to sharpen your edge in the market
• You collaborate closely with analysts and fellow traders to enhance desk performance

• 10+ years of experience trading European gas (physical and / or financial), with a strong proprietary track record
• A strategic mindset and consistent profitability in a fast-moving environment
• Deep technical expertise and a structured, analytical approach to decision-making
• Strong discipline in risk management and position sizing
• Programming or quantitative skills (e.g. Python, VBA) are a plus
