We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance professional to support day-to-day accounting, billing, and controlling activities in a growing organization. This role offers hands‑on exposure to operational finance while working closely with senior finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement. It is well suited for someone eager to grow their finance expertise in a dynamic, fast‑evolving environment.
This role can be pursued on‑site from our headquarters in Wollerau or our office at Zürich, Bahnhofstrasse!
Responsibilities- Support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger postings, vendor invoice booking and verification, customer payment reconciliation, and maintenance of accurate financial records in line with Swiss accounting principles and internal guidelines.
- Actively contribute to monthly and quarterly billing cycles, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing in close collaboration with sales and operations teams.
- Support period‑end closing activities, including account reconciliations, preparation of supporting documentation, and assistance with management and statutory reporting.
- Support controlling and performance analysis by tracking costs, monitoring key financial metrics, and providing transparency on business performance.
- Participate in finance and controlling projects, such as process improvements, system enhancements, reporting optimization, and ad‑hoc financial analyses.
- Work closely with senior finance leadership to gain hands‑on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and financial decision‑making in a fast‑pace growth environment.
- Contribute to the ongoing professionalization and scaling of the finance function through improved processes, documentation, and best practices.
- Basic education or training in finance, accounting, or business administration (e.g. commercial apprenticeship, Bachelor’s degree, or comparable qualification).
- Practical experience in accounting with a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Structured, reliable, and detail‑oriented working style with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong interest in digitalization, automation, and process improvement within finance and accounting.
- Ability to identify manual or repetitive processes and propose efficient, technology‑driven solutions.
- Analytical mindset with curiosity to understand the drivers behind financial results.
- Hands‑on, proactive, and adaptable personality with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Clear and professional communication skills in English;
German is a plus. - Team‑oriented, proactive and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
