Legal Advisor Wealth Management – Transactional Lawyer

Job type: full‑time, unlimited duration.
Your TeamJoin a dynamic multicultural team of lawyers based in Zurich and Geneva. The team is dedicated to providing excellent legal advice and support to internal clients. Cooperation, transversality and agility are key.
Your WorkThe candidate will advise various services in banking, financial and commercial law, monitoring legal issues and proposing solutions in compliance with legislation and BNP Paribas procedures.
The focus is on supporting Wealth Management and other Business Lines.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiation and drafting of Wealth Management complex financing transactions, often multi‑jurisdictional (Lombard loans, Sharia financing, mortgage loans, etc).
- Provide legal assistance as part of the Bank’s offering of new financial products and services.
- Draft contracts and contractual documentation in line with BNP Paribas standards.
- Support projects concerning other Group entities in Switzerland.
- Support regulatory projects related to banking and finance.
- Provide legal support to Business Lines on cross‑border themes in accordance with the Bank set up.
- Provide advice and support to various Business Lines, including Corporate investment banking, Jet & Yacht financing, and other bank functions.
- Perform any other task related to the function as required.
Holder of a Swiss lawyer’s certificate, ideally supplemented by a higher education diploma (LL.M or other).
Prior experience in banking or finance or in a law firm operating in the banking sector of at least 6–10 years.
Strong interest in Wealth Management and financing issues.
Fluent in English and German. French reading and writing skills are a plus.
