In Switzerland, we work with 300 experts who support our customers on their various projects in the French- and German-speaking parts. We help our customers to diversify and to grow through the work of our consultants and the technical expertise of our Solution & Project Delivery Department.

To strengthen our team in the German part of Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Manufacturing engineer, German speaker to start asap to support our client on site.

The Senior Manufacturing is responsible for planning and executing manufacturing projects and studies related to process optimization, product and costs, and production efficiency.

• Conceive and plan complex projects involving process costs, product costs, process control, and labor optimization.
• Develop and refine manufacturing cost estimation methodologies.
• Estimate time, labor, and material costs to support budgeting and quotation processes.
• Assist in the development, analysis, and justification of capital expenditures (CAPEX).
• Contribute to the preparation and coordination of a 5‑year capital investment plan.
• Plan and execute manufacturing assignments of major complexity requiring advanced technical expertise.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing labor standards through time studies and method analysis in fabrication and assembly areas.
• Design and optimize plant layouts and work areas for multiple production lines.
• Apply statistical methods and mathematical modelling to determine optimal manufacturing processes, staffing requirements, and production standards.
• Identify and recommend methods to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste (materials, utilities, time).
• Optimize workflows by restructuring job duties, reorganizing production flows, and relocating workstations or equipment.
• Support lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering and Product Engineering teams on Design for Manufacturing activities.
• Support continuous improvement and new product introduction initiatives.
• Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with prescribed safety and environmental regulations and standards.
