Position: Flight Mechanics Engineer - Modelling & Simulation (Flightlab)
Location: Zürich

Contract: Permanent contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate flight mechanics models for fixed-wing and/or rotary-wing aircraft;
  • Perform modeling and simulation activities using Flight Lab;
  • Conduct flight dynamics analysis and performance assessments;
  • Support control law development and system integration activities;
  • Contribute to simulation environment development and validation;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including aerodynamics, avionics, and systems engineering.
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in flight mechanics and modeling & simulation;
  • Strong hands-on experience with Flight Lab;
  • Solid knowledge of flight dynamics, aircraft stability, and control;
  • Experience with simulation environments and validation processes;
  • Programming skills (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink or similar) are considered a plus;
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in international multidisciplinary teams.
