Safety Engineer

• Perform and document Safety Assessments for Defense Systems in accordance with our established safety program plans and defense industry standards (STANAG 4297, MIL‑STD‑882E) such as:
• Preliminary Hazard Analysis
• Sub‑system Hazard Analysis
• System Hazard Analysis
• Software Safety Risk Assessment
• You will also perform and document Safety Analysis of systems and components as required for safety requirements verification, such as:
• Reliability Prediction
• Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
• Fault Tree Analysis
• Support our system engineering teams in ensuring that the system design is compliant with the applicable safety requirements.

• A degree (BSc or MSc) in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5+ years of experience in Defense Systems Safety Assessments.
• Experience working with UAV systems will be a plus.
• Working knowledge of Defense Standards such as STANAG 4297 and related safety deliverables.
• Working knowledge on ARP
  4761 and related safety deliverables.
• Experience working with Isograph Reliability Workbench software.
