The opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and drivenR&D Test and Process Engineer for Bushings
with a specialized focus on
high voltage (HV) testing and manufacturing process development
. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of high voltage energy systems through rigorous testing, data analysis, and continuous process optimization. You will play a key role in bridging R&D and manufacturing, supporting the development of innovative energy technologies.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead and execute high voltage testing activities in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and internal standards

• Design and implement test setups, selecting appropriate HV equipment and methodologies

• Analyze test data, document results, and support root cause investigations and corrective actions

• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to define test strategies and process requirements

• Drive continuous improvement in testing and prototyping processes to enhance efficiency and quality

• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safe operation of HV test equipment

• Support prototyping activities and assess process feasibility in a manufacturing environment

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and company policies

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in high voltage testing. Process engineering experience is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of HV testing protocols, equipment, and safety practices

• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards

• Proficient in analyzing test data and conducting failure analyses

• Fluent in German and good English knowledge, with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
