Talent Acquisition / Attraction Lead | Strategic Sourcing in Engineering, Technology across Defence & Building Services sectors.

Would you like to be support Black & White Engineering establish a new office in Zurich, you will be an established engineering leader (electrical or mechanical design) and the top priority will be build and scale B&W’s presence in Switzerland. You’ll own market growth, client relationships and team development—partnering closely with our European leadership and global network to deliver a profitable, high‑performing business

• Build something from the ground up:
  Lead the launch of B&W’s new Zurich office—set the strategy, shape the culture, and put your stamp on Switzerland's data centre design market.
• Real ownership & influence:
  Take end‑to‑end accountability (P&L, resourcing, bids, QA/QC), with direct visibility to the Area Director – Europe and a mandate to grow.
• Scale a high‑performing team:
  Recruit, mentor and develop a local engineering team (MEP, project delivery, support functions) aligned to B&W’s global standards.
• Work on mission‑critical projects:
  Deliver complex data centre programmes with our one‑global team—multi‑time zone collaboration, BIM‑led coordination, and best practice QA.

• Degree (BSc/BEng) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Significant building services design experience—ideally including data centres—with strong technical leadership and project delivery credentials.
• Chartered Engineer (or working towards) and membership of IET/CIBSE or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams, manage virtual design delivery, and build trusted client relationships
• Commercial acumen across P&L, contracts and fee management, plus sound knowledge of health & safety and applicable local/IEC/BS codes and standards.
