Embedded Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced R&D Senior Engineer to join our Medium Voltage Drives team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced embedded software that powers high-performance industrial solutions used worldwide.

• Translate requirements for Medium Voltage Drives into robust, real-time embedded software using modern C++.
• Navigate and implement complex control and protection concepts, ensuring reliability and top performance through comprehensive testing.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with global teams to create common control solutions for multiple applications.
• Provide expert technical support for commissioning and troubleshooting.

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Robotics.
• Expertise in control theory and/or power electronics, familiar with field‑oriented machine control or grid‑connected converters.
• +5 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years of hands‑on modern C++ development.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems, version control and testing practices.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for control concept validation is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a global, collaborative environment.
• A motivated, creative, and self‑organizing team player who loves solving complex challenges.
