To complete our Energy Curing Division, we are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated personality.
Energy Curing Division – 100%
This position is based in our R&S department at our headquarters in Zurich and can be partly performed from home. The role includes managing global chemical legislation, preparing safety documentation and registrations and supporting both customers and internal teams with regulatory guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Chemical Registrations:
Manage global chemical registrations for RAHN products, focusing on compliance with EU REACH, North American regulations (e.g., TSCA), and Chinese chemical legislation ensuring timely and accurate submissions. - Safety Documentation & Labelling:
Prepare and maintain safety data sheets (SDS) and product labels in accordance with the legal requirements of each target market, ensuring correct hazard classification and communication. - Customer & Sales Support:
Advise customers and internal teams on regulatory requirements for product approvals, particularly in sensitive application areas such as indirect food‑contact and cosmetics, ensuring compliance and market readiness. - Regulatory & Sustainability Strategy Implementation:
Support the Head of Department in executing both divisional and corporate R&S strategies by monitoring relevant regulations and ensuring RAHN’s compliance with environmental standards and customer‑specific R&S criteria.
- You bring a solid scientific foundation, ideally through an apprenticeship in a chemical laboratory or higher chemical education, combined with experience in regulatory affairs within the chemical or similar industry or a regulatory consultancy.
- While prior experience in sustainability is not required, you have a strong personal interest in this area and are motivated to contribute to related initiatives.
- You are confident in using standard Microsoft PC applications and familiar with Reach‑IT.
- Taking initiative and maintaining a strong doing mentality ensures tasks are approached with motivation, independence, and a focus on results.
- Clear communication and a structured way of working contribute to efficiency, while flexibility supports smooth handling of changing priorities.
- A collaborative mindset fosters effective teamwork, with active contributions to shared goals and a supportive attitude toward colleagues.
- You are fluent in English;
German language skills would be a valuable asset.
