Teaching Assistant – AI for Kids (German-speaking)

We are Clever Minds
, a Zurich-based education initiative offering AI learning programs for children (ages 4–10). Our goal is to prepare children for an AI-powered future through playful, age-appropriate, and confidence-building learning.

We are looking for ETH / UZH students who enjoy working with children and are comfortable teaching basic AI concepts in German
.

• Teach small groups of children (max. 9 per group)
• Deliver 2-hour teaching sessions
• Use ready‑made, high-quality AI workbooks and materials (provided)
• Teach primarily on weekends
• Create a positive, calm, and engaging learning environment

• Student at ETH Zurich or University of Zurich (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, EE, or related fields)
• German or Swiss German as mother tongue
• Very good English (required)
• Enjoys working with children; patient, friendly, and responsible
• Comfortable explaining concepts in a simple, playful way
• Interest in AI and technology (deep technical expertise not required)
• Teaching/tutoring experience is a plus, but not mandatory

• Compensation: CHF 35–40 per hour
• 2 hours per session
• Up to 2–3 sessions per weekend
• Location:
  • Kloten (Zurich region)
  • Easily reachable from Zurich city
