EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a fast-paced international organization in its search for a Demand Planner with strong SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) expertise.
Our client operates within a dynamic international environment, managing an extensive portfolio of products across its Supply Chain network. The organization is focused on improving planning capabilities, enhancing data visibility, and strengthening forecasting accuracy to support more effective operational decision-making.
As the Demand Planner (SAP IBP), you will play a key role in driving forecasting excellence and improving demand planning processes across the organization.
You will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, improving existing planning methodologies, and helping strengthen demand planning ownership within the Supply Chain function to ensure improved forecast visibility and data-driven decision-making.
This role is based in Zurich, Switzerland on a hybrid working basis.
Responsibilities:- Own and continuously improve the demand forecasting process across a portfolio of products
- Develop accurate and data-driven forecasts using SAP IBP, improving existing manual and consensus-based planning processes
- Support the transition of demand planning ownership from Sales to Supply Chain, strengthening planning governance and accountability
- Provide forecasting insights and analytical support to improve forecast accuracy and planning decisions
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to optimise system configuration and maximise IBP capabilities
- Take ownership of forecast data quality, reporting, and visualisation while delivering regular planning insights to leadership teams
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Forecasting roles
- This individual must have Fluent or Professional level German language skills.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Proven ability to build forecasting models, develop planning reports, and deliver analytical insights
- Strong stakeholder management and change management capabilities
- Experience supporting supply chain system or process transformation initiatives
