THE ROLE & THE TEAM
Join our team responsible for managing critical Size & Fit products essential to Zalando’s growth. Collaborate with product managers, analysts, engineers, applied scientists and external partners to deliver foundational fit solutions and improve customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Scale innovative and disruptive customer‑facing experiences such as virtual fitting rooms and avatar‑based 3D solutions.
- Build a compelling future vision and craft a narrative to solve customer problems and realize Zalando’s opportunities.
- Understand customer return behaviour, identify opportunities and execute end‑to‑end.
- Provide clear, solution‑oriented recommendations for complex problems leveraging data and analysis techniques.
- Identify and execute on business opportunities in partnership with commercial stakeholders.
- Back decisions with data‑driven insights, customer empathy and market trend knowledge.
- Prioritize initiatives and drive actions to achieve goals with stakeholder guidance.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams (applied science, engineering, product design, analytics, business) and act as a trusted sparring partner.
- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably data‑driven or computer‑vision products.
- Commercial background, able to interpret financial metrics and work with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to execute end‑to‑end product management for innovative, disruptive products.
- Strong impact focus with medium‑to‑long‑term results and alignment with company strategy and KPIs.
- Deep understanding of evolving customer expectations, digital and physical fashion experiences.
- Expertise in solving complex problems at scale and navigating uncertainties throughout discovery, design, delivery.
- Track record of delivering products with trade‑offs across usability, technical, operational, market readiness and business constraints.
- Experience measuring product success at large scale and iterating for continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, conveying complex concepts to senior management and cross‑functional teams.
- Passion for solving industry‑wide problems and creating impactful solutions.
