Job Description Your Mission?

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to act as a mini‑CEO. You will own our “Value Added Services” (VAS) product line—a portfolio built to help our customers grow their business, increase the success of their listings, and achieve top performance across products such as Top Listings and New Constructions packages. As customers succeed and their business grows, this naturally translates into commercial growth for the VAS product line.

If your understanding of “great products” is “commercial growth”, then this role is for you.

Through qualitative and quantitative research, you will become our VAS domain expert — no one will understand the space better than you. You’ll identify opportunities, shape strategy, and drive high‑impact initiatives from the bottom up.

You thrive in autonomy: steep business goals and a wide range of options energise you rather than overwhelm you.

What You’ll Own Product Strategy & Development
  • Bias to action: Instead of having a "perfect understanding", you are keen to experiment. You understand that data and customer interviews can ultimately not teach you what the best step is. Finding product‑market fit is an art! Ultimately, the market will judge your pricing, packaging, and value proposition. The proof is with the buy button.
  • Growth‑Hacking: As this is an existing product, you will find ways to grow this product through a series of experiments. Using fake door tests, A/B tests and lean ways of iterating over the product.
  • Customer Validation: Building full‑scope products takes time and money, so you will find ways to rapidly validate them before building a full‑fledged product.
  • Scrum environment: You will act in a team of 4‑6 engineers, an engineering manager, and a product designer. You will lead this team in an agile way.
Revenue & Commercial Performance
  • Direct P&L accountability for your product area with measurable revenue targets.
  • Monetisation strategy including pricing models, packaging, and new revenue streams.
  • Sales‑Channels via our sales and via self‑booking.
Market Research - Qualitative and quantitative
  • Customer centricity: Interviewing customers on a regular basis is an absolute must. Interacting with sales also. You need to be comfortable with both, as you will become the domain expert.
  • Data‑informed decisions: You are able to understand a portfolio of existing products, understand its dependencies (driver model) and can look up core data yourself (through Tableau, SQL or Excel).
Qualifications What will you bring to the ride?
  • Customer‑centric mindset: you’re not afraid to pick up the phone to talk to customers, test assumptions, and validate insights directly.
  • Proven commercial focus: you bring hands‑on experience working on revenue growth, sales enablement, pricing or monetisation strategies. You think in terms of P&L and understand costs and benefits.
  • Data fluency: you can dig into SQL or similar tools to uncover insights, run funnel analysis, or conduct lightweight market research.
  • Leadership and influence: you know how to align and inspire cross‑functional teams (engineers, marketers, analysts, sales) towards a shared vision.
  • Agile collaboration: you’ve worked with engineering teams in Agile setups, not by writing every JIRA ticket yourself, but by providing the "why" and "what" with clarity.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: you act like an owner, comfortable experimenting, iterating, and learning fast.
  • Language: fluent German and English is a must.
  • Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager or in a similar commercially‑oriented role.
Big pluses are:
  • Background in marketplaces, SaaS, or subscription‑based models.
  • Experience in sales enablement, telesales, or self‑service product…
