Procurement Director - Logsitics

EMEA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Logistics Procurement Director on behalf of our client, a major international player in the food and beverages industry.

Based at their office in Zurich, you will join a highly successful, independent organization with a significant global footprint and a portfolio of market-leading brands.

As Logistics Procurement Director, you will lead global Sourcing and Procurement strategies across all Supply Chain categories, including road transport, ocean freight, warehousing, and associated services.

This role drives cost optimization, supply resilience, and supplier innovation, partnering closely with Operations, Planning, and Finance to deliver measurable savings and improve end-to-end performance.

We are looking for a high-caliber candidate with the following skillset and experience:

• FMCG background is essential for this role
• Extensive experience in Procurement within the US market is a must
• Open to applications from candidates currently located within the EU
• Proven track record in leading Logistics and Supply Chain procurement on a global scale
• Strong negotiator with previous experience leading high-stakes supplier negotiations
• Top-tier stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level
• Fluent English is essential - an MBA or professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CIPS) are highly beneficial
