Junior Business Development Manager

At ALTEN a Business Manager is an “entrepreneur”, building up his/her own business unit from scratch. Your success will be measured in your ability to develop the business, build up a team of consultants, and keep growing up over the years, positioning at ALTEN as a key consulting partner on your market.

Concretely, you will have to perform the following:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Creating new business opportunities by prospecting new customers and thinking out of the box
  • Gathering new business leads at actual customers
  • Participating in development of business offers
  • Supporting the company to meet its commercial objectives
  • Optimizing business profitability
  • “Farming” customer relationships with your winning way
  • Supporting our clients in demanding projects through several service offering
  • Analysing and reporting your business activities
RECRUITING
  • Defining the recruitment strategy and process
  • Continuously recruit, interview and match candidates in order to have already qualified talent ready to meet customer’s current and anticipated needs
MANAGEMENT
  • Be in charge of your consultant team career evolution (Annual review, career committee, trainings)
  • Supervising the financial status of your business activity (P&L)
  • Organizing & coordinating the commercial relationships with your partners
What we are looking for
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration / Economics / Engineering with a keen interest in active business development
  • Approximately 1 year of previous experience as a business developer or consultant
  • Native German speaker and excellent knowledge of English
  • Entrepeneurship spirit, proactivity and will to achieve challenging goals
