Real Estate & Logistics & Physical Security Group provides a large variety of services to clients and the Group’s staff. Its teams manage the Group’s headquarters buildings in Geneva along with those of its offices and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. They also ensure the physical security of the buildings.

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Zurich. As a key member of our motivated team, you will be working within Pictet’s Real Estate & Logistics & Physical Security Management division. As the successful applicant, you will bring your communication skills, your ability to work independently and your foreign language skills to a service-oriented team that will appreciate your motivation, high standards and joined-up thinking.

Your organisational skills and thoughtful approach to your work will enable you to keep an overview even in hectic situations. You will use your sense of responsibility, pleasant manner and outstanding client focus to support our staff as well as our clients.

Your role

As a receptionist in our Zurich office you will be an ambassador for Pictet and the first point of contact for our international clients. You will be expected to provide a first-class service with an emphasis on quality and while maintaining absolute discretion. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Welcoming clients and organizing the reception area.
  • Operating the telephone switchboard in German and English.
  • Coordinating between the client areas and the hospitality service during client meetings.
  • Helping to organize client-facing events.
  • Performing general administrative duties.
  • Providing help for the Food & Beverage department.
Your profile
  • At least three to five years’ experience in a similar position in the luxury hotel sector or with a service company, ideally within the financial industry.
  • German mother tongue and fluent in English; good knowledge of French would be an advantage.
  • Client-focused and confident appearance.
  • Solution-oriented with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong team player who is also able to work independently and to deliver first-class service.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland.
