Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will work with members of the audit team across all aspects of an audit – working through sections of audit planning, scoping, assessing key risks, the design and operational assessment, and developing reporting. You will collaborate with audit team members across Group Audit. Working with the audit team, you will develop a deep understanding of the business and its risks.

You will co‑develop high‑quality audit approaches including leveraging Data Analytics, assess IT fundamentals and leverage GenAI. And support reporting that provides key insights and influences stakeholders at Zurich Global Life.

You will support a collaborative, learning, and team environment. You will contribute to strategic priorities and learn and apply innovative audit approaches, new world skills (Data Analytics, IT and GenAI) and agile methods.

Your main responsibilities will involve:
  • High Quality Audits

    Support the delivery of audits to exceptional quality, on time and with impact. Leverage Data Analytics and GenAI, assess IT fundamentals throughout the audit process.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or relevant qualification (chartered accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent, MBA or equivalent an asset).
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience e.g. within Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance. Preferably in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry.
  • Experience with in complex, fast moving and international organizations.
  • Good understanding of audit methodology, Internal Audit Standards and internal control frameworks preferred.
  • Good understanding of Life Insurance Business and / or Pensions.
  • Experience with and good understanding of new world skills (DA, ITGC and GenAI).
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently deliver high‑quality outcomes on time.
