Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

EMEA Recruitment is proud to assist an exciting scaleup business based in Zurich in the search for an Accountant to join their growing company.

As the Accountant, you'll join a team of entrepreneurs. You must be able to demonstrate a strong communication style, and improve and implement Accounting processes while managing Accounting tasks.

• Manage the general ledger and subledger Accounting for two Swiss companies, covering fixed assets, general ledger accounts, and subledger accounts in accordance with Swiss OR
• Take charge of quarterly consolidation and reporting at group level
• Provide Accounting and administrative support to their subsidiaries
• Coordinate and support intercompany reconciliations between subsidiaries
• Collaborate with the Controlling team to support monthly financial statements, reporting, and ad-hoc analyses
• Contribute to the enhancement of financial processes and assist in the introduction of new systems

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Swiss Accounting
• Fluent in both German and English
• Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
• A passion for dynamic, varied tasks in an engaging work environment
• A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to your work
