The ICT System Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance systems across the organisation. This role is essential in supporting our internal users, optimising system operations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technical environment.

• Manage and further develop Microsoft Intune for all endpoints, including deployment, configuration, policies and compliance
• Install, operate and maintain IT infrastructure systems (server, storage, network) in a Microsoft hybrid environment (cloud & on‑prem)
• Lead and support IT infrastructure projects from planning to implementation
• Continuously improve the IT systems and security architecture to ensure high availability, performance and security
• Manage and coordinate external partners and consultants in your responsible domain
• Evaluate, select and source new hardware and software solutions
• Design IT system concepts and technical architectures, develop and implement IT processes based on business requirements
• Monitor and respond to security incidents to minimise risk and impact
• Ensure regular system updates, patches and lifecycle management
• Support the IT Service Desk in daily operations and escalations

• You have 4-7 years of experience in a similar ICT engineering role within a hybrid Microsoft environment
• You bring a completed commercial apprenticeship and additional training in IT
• You have proven expertise in Microsoft Intune, and certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, ISO, or Project Management would be an advantage
• You understand how to implement, operate and support complex IT infrastructure services (cloud & on‑prem)
• You can analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively
• You are able to translate business needs into technical requirements
• You have a strong commitment to quality, reliability, a client‑first mindset and you show excellent analytical thinking
• You communicate clearly, collaborate well and bring an approachable, supportive personality
• You can motivate, guide and inspire others, also in project settings
• You are fluent in German and English
