We are currently partnering with a leading developer, designer, and manufacturer of medical devices to recruit a Global Finance Business Partner. This person is a strategic finance leader who supports the Automation and Tooling Solutions business unit and the Management Team with financial insight and guidance.

Their role is to drive a unified approach to financial performance measurement, reporting, and benchmarking across all relevant sites while ensuring transparency and sustainable profitability. In addition to leading financial planning and analysis activities, they’re responsible for developing and managing a global finance team based in Taiwan and strengthening financial governance across the organization.

• Act as Global Finance Business Partner to the Automation and Tooling Solutions business unit and leadership team, advising on financial decisions and profit optimization levers
• Lead and develop the global Advantec Finance team, fostering talent, engagement, and performance
• Prepare, distribute, and present monthly financial reporting packages with focus on project and manufacturing performance, productivity, material expenses, OPEX, and absorption
• Provide accurate and timely reporting (actuals, variance analysis vs. budget, forecasts, CAPEX, working capital, cash balance) to support group management reporting
• Deliver key metrics, in-depth financial analyses, and ad-hoc reporting to Business Unit heads to support data-driven decision-making
• Lead budgeting and financial planning cycles, including project variance analysis, PoC margin reconciliation, working capital targets, activity rate calculation, SAP implementation topics, intercompany pricing governance, and process standardization initiatives

• Minimum 10+ years of finance experience, including at least 5+ years in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Industry knowledge in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, or Manufacturing sectors
• Proven leadership experience, ideally managing international teams
• Strong expertise in project costing and Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting
• Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4, SAP PS, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW or other BI systems
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken), with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
