We are currently partnering with a leading developer, designer, and manufacturer of medical devices to recruit a Global
Finance Business Partner – Operations
. This person is a trusted Finance advisor to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) who drives financial transparency, performance management, and product costing excellence across global manufacturing sites. Their primary focus is to provide in-depth financial analysis, standardized product costing, and strategic insights to optimize gross profit and ensure cost control across Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. In addition to overseeing global COGS reporting and CAPEX coordination, they’re leading a team of three FTEs in Taiwan and driving a unified, data-driven approach to operational performance management.

• Act as Global Finance Business Partner to the COO and Operations organization, advising and influencing financial decisions to optimize gross profit and cost control
• Deliver detailed monthly COGS reporting for Taiwan, US, and Swiss production sites, including variance analysis and underlying drivers
• Develop and present monthly financial reporting packages focused on manufacturing performance, productivity, material expenses, operating expenses, and absorption
• Collect, consolidate, and report global CAPEX requirements across CH, US, and TW
• Drive standardization and quality consistency of product costing methodologies across all manufacturing sites
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the global Operations organization
• Implement and monitor KPIs for Operations, analyzing trends and advising on improvement actions
• Support critical investment ramp-ups and global product cost simulation initiatives with accurate data and cost-driver analysis
• Provide senior stakeholders with data-driven insights, ad-hoc analyses, and actionable recommendations
• Promote a global “one team approach” within Finance and collaborate cross-functionally and internationally

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience within manufacturing and product costing roles
• Strong FP&A expertise within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, or Manufacturing industries
• Proven leadership experience, ideally managing international teams
• Solid background in manufacturing and supply chain finance as well as standard costing
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling capabilities to translate financial data into management presentations
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4, SAP PS, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW, or comparable BI systems
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
