Your key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with indirect tax rules locally and globally, supporting diverse clients across industries such as manufacturing, real estate, and finance.
• Navigate the complexities of a constantly evolving tax landscape, staying updated on e-commerce VAT rules and e-invoicing requirements.
• Enhance VAT efficiency within supply chains and assist clients in digital transformation.
• Support team growth by mentoring junior colleagues and managing projects from client needs assessment to delivering recommendations.
• Collaborate with our global network of indirect tax experts to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Work with colleagues across Tax, Assurance, and Advisory Services to meet client needs and provide innovative solutions.
• Tackle complex Swiss and international tax issues in an interdisciplinary environment, fostering learning and development.
• Engage in projects at the intersection of business and law, gaining insights through client interactions and communication with tax authorities.

Skills and attributes for success

• A diploma in Law and/or Economics from a Swiss university or equivalent; certified Tax Expert recognition is a plus.
• 5 to 7 years of indirect tax consulting experience, preferably at a Big4 or similar firm, in Switzerland or internationally; in-house VAT experience is a plus.
• A proven track record in managing client mandates and guiding less experienced colleagues.
• Fluent in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is appreciated.
