Job Purpose
Support Corporate Strategy team and Executive Board on cross‑functional, dynamic and fast‑paced projects with high strategic impact, incl. close coordination with respective functional leads and preparation of materials for relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Major accountabilities- Drive cross‑functional, strategic projects self‑sufficiently in close collaboration with respective functional owners – and in alignment with Corporate Strategy team and Executive Board.
- Own cross‑functional, strategic projects requiring strong analytics and financial skills.
- Ensure all relevant information and tasks are completed on time by the respective functions, including monitoring progress, identifying areas of improvement and recommending adjustments as necessary, and aggregate outputs on a level to be discussed with Corporate Strategy team and Executive Board.
- Coordinate strategic projects with external stakeholders (e.g., investors, regulators) if applicable and ensure processes are managed accordingly.
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, governance documents and reports for key meetings with the Management Committee, Executive Board, Board of Directors, and other external stakeholders respectively.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure organizational priorities are met and timely delivery of successful outcomes, including evaluation of risk factors when making critical business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
Education:
At minimum master’s degree or equivalent in a business, finance or life science subject.
Experience:At minimum 3 years of experience in the industry, with relevant life sciences project exposure in the fields of strategy, R&D, and finance (strategy consulting a plus).
Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:Individual accountability and thought leadership in projects, conceptual problem‑solving skills and ability to coordinate across functions, reliable and detail‑oriented work attitude given importance of tasks involved in the role.
Work Location- 2 days a week in our Zug or Porto office.
