Duration: 6 months

Start Date:

At Tesla, we are accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable abundance. The Sales & Delivery Business Planning team plays a critical role in shaping how Tesla grows across EMEA — from where we open new locations, to how we plan supply and demand, and to how we identify risks and opportunities across markets.

We are looking for a Business Planning Intern to join our team for a 6‑month internship, ideally suited for a Master’s student nearing graduation who is eager to develop strong analytical skills while contributing to high‑impact business decisions. This role offers exposure across multiple strategic planning topics that influence the entire team and organization, including real estate strategy, supply & demand planning, and sales performance analysis.

What

You’ll Do
  • Support Real Estate Planning activities across EMEA by contributing to analyses that assess market coverage, location performance, and expansion opportunities
  • Support analyses that evaluate what supply is expected to sell, highlighting mismatches between planned production, available inventory, and market demand
  • Provide ad‑hoc analytical support across team verticals, including used cars, market & competition, B2B, and new markets, depending on business needs and priorities
  • Work across multiple planning topics and projects that impact the entire Business Planning team, supporting ad‑hoc analyses and strategic initiatives as priorities evolve
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or standardize recurring processes, proactively proposing improvements to tools, templates, and workflows
What You’ll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a degree within Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Economics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel and experience using SQL, Python, and/or BI tools as part of academic or project work
  • Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in business planning, operations, and strategy
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
