Do you have previous security experience and excellent communication skills? We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our customer as an Access Security & Services Specialist (m/w/d) working on-site at their office in Rotkreuz. This is a long-term opportunity with a start date in April.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors while maintaining a high level of security. In this role, you will carry out s, respond to emergencies, and provide support to staff and visitors as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a point of contact and information center at the reception for staff and visitors
- Ensure all visitors and callers to the company receive clear and sufficient information in person, over the phone, or by email
- Carry out badge checks, badge Administration & compliance
- Manage access control and support threat detection
- Ensure the safety and security of staff and visitors
- Support daily operations
- Access Management & System Maintenance: You actively work within the access control system and handle all badge-related processes at the site. In case of issues, you are the first point of contact, coordinate resolutions, and involve internal specialist teams when needed.
- Badge Administration & Compliance: You manage the entire lifecycle of access badges - from creation to modification to deactivation. You maintain access rights and conduct audits within your area of responsibility.
- Processes & Training: You process access requests, create support tickets, and assist with administrative workflows. You also deliver security-related training sessions and ensure audit-proof documentation and archiving of all evidence.
- You take on project-specific special tasks within the security environment and maintain contact with external service providers. Additionally, you support the onboarding of apprentices and ensure a secure introduction for new employees.
- Back Office & Administration: You handle administrative tasks for the security department and ensure availability within the back office. This includes efficient management of the ticketing system as well as receiving and coordinating incoming phone inquiries.
- You have completed a vocational qualification (commercial or technical), ideally complemented by experience in a security-related environment.
- You bring a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- You are familiar with access control systems (e.g., Kaba) and work confidently with IT applications, particularly within the Google environment.
- You work in a structured, precise, and detail-oriented manner - especially when adhering to security guidelines, where accuracy is crucial.
- You are a trustworthy and service-oriented individual who consistently keeps security in focus. You present yourself professionally, with a friendly and polite demeanor.
- You are proactive, curious, and motivated to engage with new topics. You take ownership of your responsibilities, set the right priorities, and remain calm even in demanding or fast-paced situations.
