Behavior Technician - Entry Level

As a Behavior Technician at BACA, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through a play‑based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA).

• Implement ABA therapy with children aged 2‑22 with autism and special needs at one of our centers.
• Support children in developing communication, socialization, and self‑help skills.
• Engage in physical tasks as required, including push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and move quickly to meet client needs.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation; personal vehicle and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Flexible schedule; available mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings, Monday‑Friday 11:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
• Minimum age 18 and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Starting pay $17 / hour, with potential increases based on experience.
• Opportunity to earn RBT certification.
• Preferred:
  Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
• Preferred:
  Studies or coursework in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or related field.
• Preferred:
  Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or similar roles).

• Paid time off: up to 15 days after 90 days of full‑time employment.
