About the Role
Job Details
Salary $120,000 - $130,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and annual reports, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure all statutory requirements of the organization are met, including GAAP.
- Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary.
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.
- Oversee the operations of the treasury department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
- Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate.
- Assist with the development and management of budgets.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to minimize financial risk.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
- Monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure that program and organizational risks are minimized.
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the executive team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Exceptional knowledge of financial reporting and data management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
