Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of academic and adaptive functioning within required timelines

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student performance, including assisting with IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs

• Observe students in academic and social environments

• Interpret and document assessment results and submit findings to the school psychologist promptly

• Gather educational records and assist with additional assigned tasks

• Consult with special education staff to strengthen IEPs or complete FBAs

• Certification:
Department of Education license with a Mild Intervention Special Education endorsement

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education

Education Diagnostician Physical Demands:

• Environment:
Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.

• Activity:
Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Sensory:
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
