Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The role involves monitoring security systems, detecting threats, and ensuring the safety of premises across various locations such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

Kenosha, WI;
Waukegan, IL; and Vernon Hills, IL.

Shift and days may vary, call off coverage.

• Hourly wage: $22 per hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Must have a valid security license
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of high school diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• State license if required
