Remote/On‑Site School Speech‑Language Pathologist in Beach Park, Illinois

Grade K‑5 students. Full‑time (37.5 hours/week). Start ASAP for the 25/26 school year. Compensation starting at $40/hour (commensurate with experience).

Certifications:

ASHA CCC required. Licenses:
Active IL SLP license and PEL.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support communication goals in classroom and other settings.
• Incorporate evidence‑based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Document sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and timely.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' speech and language needs.

• Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
• Current ASHA certification required.
• Passionate about working with K‑12 students.
• Experience providing speech‑language therapy in a school or pediatric setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology (preferred).
