Description
These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility, including Shipping, Receiving, or Production. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Forklift positions include Extended Run, Forklift Operator, Order Selector Operator, and Yard Driver Operator.
The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment. This role may work in various departments including Shipping, Receiving, or Production.
Physical RequirementsMust be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required. Stand 8-10 hours on hard floors. Perform repetitive motions. Work in a cold, damp environment and on slippery surfaces.
Preferred Skills- 3 months of forklift experience
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- RF scanner experience
- Must have 3 months of work experience (can be multiple employers, total ≥ 3 months)
- Previous Tyson employment subject to 365‑day rehire waiting period and limited to 3 employment periods
