Assembly Mechanic

VAM Water Tech is the specialist for washing water purification in the agricultural‑food sector. With our high‑quality and reliable solutions, our international customers can reuse 95% washing water from agricultural products such as potatoes, carrots, lettuce and top fruit while maintaining and often improving quality and food safety.

For our office in Borssele we are looking for an

Assembly Mechanic

• you assemble machines and complete production lines based on technical drawings;
• you assemble products and collect and organize parts;
• together with colleagues you ensure quality as an Assembly Mechanic;
• you propose improvements where necessary;
• carrying out maintenance and repairs at our location, are also part of Assembly Mechanic Machine Construction;
• performing electrical work;
• you look for systematic problems related to the assembly or application of the products for continuous improvement;

• you have at least an MBO diploma level 3 Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or are at a comparable level due to experience
• you are well versed as an Assembly Mechanic Machine Construction
• you have an affinity with automated systems
• you have a proactive attitude
• You preferably live in Zeeland.
• You have good social and communication skills and are able to speak Dutch.
• You enjoy looking for improvements and solutions.
• You can work independently and like to take the initiative.
• Experience as an electrician/plumber is an advantage
