As a Print Line Operator you are going to setup and run Print Line to produce blocks that meet customer and company specifications.
Currently there is an opening for a Print Line Operator in our Aramid division on 3rd shift (10:30p - 6:30a. Sunday - Thursday)
*** Training will be required on 1st shift for 4 to 6 weeks:
Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM
Aramid Print Line Operator

Starting at $22.98 per hour on 3rd Shift.
- Startup/verify secondary equipment (oxidizer, hot oil heater) is operating at required set points.
- Check schedule to determine next order to process.
- Read work order instructions and process specifications.
- Transfer coils of material with a forklift.
- Use the overhead crane to load/unload coils and cylinders.
- Set up and run Print Line according to process specifications.
- Perform required tests (adhesive weight, viscosity, percent solids) to verify proper line setup.
- Maintain proper adhesive levels, oven temperatures and material tension according to process set points.
- Clean print cylinders and adhesive tray utilizing chemicals and small hand tools.
- Inspect material for quality issues.
- Move completed coils on a roller cart to next operation.
- Complete associated paperwork.
- Enter process and work order information into computer system to maintain accurate records.
- Monitor equipment and make setup adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate with management representatives regarding any material or equipment concerns.
- Record production and scrap information on team board charts.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies. Notify supervisor when re-order level is reached.
- Assist in performing quarterly inventory checks.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
- Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful.
- Actively participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times including waste/scrap removal and cleanup of equipment.
- Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED Preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work overtime.
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
