** POSITION OVERVIEW
** The Systems Engineer II performs systems design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing.
** Location**:
This position requires on-site work at Gentex facilities. This role is not eligible for remote work.
** WHAT YOU’LL DO
*** Perform systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.
* Create, evaluate, and implement system architectures including interface definition and description.
* Develop and conduct system test procedures and methods for system verification and validation.
* Utilize analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test.
* Conduct cross-functional design reviews.
* Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.
* Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.
* Other duties as assigned.

** WHAT TO BRING
*** Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
* 2+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
** WHAT WILL HELP
*** Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
* Professional work experience in new product development.
* Professional work experience in Systems Engineering.
