Service Engineer

VAM Water Tech is the specialist for washing water purification in the agricultural
-food sector. With our high-quality and reliable solutions, our international customers can reuse 95% washing water from agricultural products such as potatoes, carrots, lettuce and top fruit. This while maintaining and often improving quality and food safety.

For our office in Borssele we are looking for a:

As a Service Engineer you are part of our Service team. You are responsible for installing, commissioning, remedying malfunctions, preventive maintenance of our machines and you test the machines that are about to be delivered to the customer from VAM Watertech.

As a Service Engineer you guide this process. Once the machines have been accepted by the customer, an appointment is made to commission the equipment at the customer and train the users.

Of course, the machines also need to be maintained. You resolve faults on site if they cannot be resolved remotely. In addition, you also support customer service by speaking to the customer with incoming questions and malfunctions / problems.

You are often on location for a few days, this can also be abroad.

• You have a MBO/HBO degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or equivalent.
• You have knowledge and experience with PLC controls.
• You preferably live in Zeeland.
• You have good social and communication skills.
• You enjoy looking for improvements and solutions.
• You can work independently and like to take the initiative.
• You are structured and stress-resistant.
• Your Dutch, German and English language is good.
• You can work project-based, are accurate and take initiative.
• You show leadership and are assertive
