We are seeking a 4th/5th Grade Self‑Contained Teacher to provide engaging, standards‑aligned instruction across core subject areas in a primarily virtual environment with limited on‑site expectations.

• Deliver high‑quality instruction in core content areas, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, aligned to Michigan Academic Standards
• Plan and facilitate live and asynchronous lessons that promote student engagement and ownership of learning
• Assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and varying academic needs
• Build strong relationships with students and families to support academic and social‑emotional growth
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and required documentation
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, expectations, and supports
• Collaborate with colleagues, interventionists, and support staff
• Participate in meetings, professional learning, and required school events
• Uphold iCademy Global policies, procedures, and expectations

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Elementary Education or a related field
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an elementary all‑subjects endorsement (K–5, K–8, or Upper Elementary 3–6) or ability to obtain
• Experience teaching upper elementary students
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Comfort using technology and virtual learning platforms

• Experience in a virtual or blended learning environment
• Familiarity with Michigan Academic Standards
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Primarily remote with scheduled on‑site requirements
• On‑site one day per week during the school year (Tuesdays)
• Additional on‑site attendance required for state testing, new student orientation, and other required school events
• Reliable internet access and appropriate home workspace required
• Full‑time, exempt. School‑year position
