Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Operations Manager
Adecco Creative and Marketing partnered with a leading luxury furniture brand to hire a leave management analyst
.
This Monday-Friday, 6 month position has a pay of $30-$35/hr based on skillset. You will work EST hours.
- Coordinates the support for leaves of absences cases and ADAAA accommodation requests.
- Responsible for management of FMLA, disability, and other leave programs and ADAAA accommodation requests.
- Performs exemplary customer service and assistance to employees, Human Resource Business partners, work team leaders, and works closely with the payroll, health services, benefits, and legal departments.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding leave program and ADAAA accommodation policies and changes.
- Conduct and develop training sessions on leave and disability practices for supervisors and managers.
- Counsel employees and supervisors to notify them of next steps throughout their leave of absence and the return to work process.
- Ensure state and federal compliance of all leave policies including: FMLA, ADAAA, Workers Compensation.
- Lead the accommodation process in compliance with ADAAA and in partnership with the Legal Department.
- Lead the disability management team.
- Manage leave administration vendor to ensure appropriate policies and processes are followed.
- Monitor and track claims and work closely with payroll to ensure that employees are compensated correctly.
- Oversee company paid holiday program.
- Oversee the vacation donation program, Vacation Purchase Option, and general vacation/time off policies.
- Research questions from HRBPs and employees about leave and ADAAA accommodation policies.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for leave programs in alignment and under general direction and guidance of HR leadership and the legal department.
- Update and improve leave administration and ADAAA accommodation policies and systems as needed to create efficient processes and comply with changing legal requirements.
- Works closely with the Health Clinic Manager and Clinic team to support necessary processes to reduce the number of workers compensation and disability related lost time days.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and professional experience.
- Experience in benefits or disability claims management.
- Solid knowledge of disability and leave-related laws and regulations.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the HMI office environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in developing spreadsheets and performing analysis. Previous experience with data analytic software preferred.
- Must be financially literate, possess business acumen, and be profit conscious.
- Demonstrated high level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures and processes in a logical sequence; at a level appropriate to the audience and resulting in effective working relationships.
- Ability to interpret and correctly react to people, incidences or situations that are open to misunderstanding due to cultural differences.
- Exceptional ability to follow-through and follow-up with internal and external parties to see complex issues through to resolution.
This is a W2 position.
