We are looking for a full-time QA/QC Manager, for our construction project in Zaragoza with the following qualifications to join our dynamic team.

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
  • Experienced in large-scale projects for at least 10 years.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
  • In-depth understanding of QA/QC principles and practices.
  • Proficient in quality inspection techniques and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide inter-departmental coordination and healthy information flow, strong business follow-up.
  • Ability to lead and mentor QA/QC teams.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Located in Zaragoza or open for relocation.
Job Description:
  • To take the necessary measures to maintain the unit in line with the envisaged objectives, strategies, policies/procedures and approved budget, plans and programs.
  • To follow the project quality program, test and inspection plans and to ensure that the works are carried out according to the contract, specifications, drawings, procedures and standards.
  • To ensure the creation and management of Quality Management System documents (Procedure, Application Methods, Material Approvals, Test and Inspection Plans, Quality Records) that will meet the project requirements.
  • To plan and control the realization of the necessary activities according to the inspection and test plans.
  • To ensure that the test reports of the Field Laboratory and 3rd party organizations are followed up.
  • Planning and performing project and subcontractor Quality Internal audits.
  • Ensuring that the necessary records are kept and managed for the delivery of work.
  • Control of typical, periodic and preliminary tests and execution of documents that determine product quality.
  • Operational control at all stages of the construction process.
  • Monitoring, analyzing and reporting quality performance data.
  • Controlling the acceptance, use and storage of incoming materials according to material approvals, standards and specifications, and managing the process.
  • Nonconforming product control, management of nonconformities, ensuring that necessary corrective and preventive actions are carried out and coordinating the process of closing nonconformities, ensuring that necessary remedial actions are taken.
  • To control the calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
