• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training and actively listening to associates during store tours and providing constructive feedback.
• Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising and company direction, and introduces and leads change efforts while setting clear expectations and guiding implementation of business solutions.
• Models exceptional customer service standards through the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and resolves customer needs, complaints and issues while developing action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit/loss statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses; ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes, and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties; sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a sense of belonging in the workplace while recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
• Coordinates job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity through action plans and the Open Door Policy.
• Builds high‑performing teams, embraces diversity, creates an inclusive workplace, and fosters a culture of belonging where all associates can thrive.

• 2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• Completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy training, Open Door training).

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General supervisory experience with 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring and terminations.
