Location:

6665 Cutler Lake Rd., Blue Rock, OH . This position requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License with no restrictions.

• Operate heavy motorized equipment to complete a variety of construction and maintenance functions.
• Perform wildlife support (e.g., forest fire line construction, trails, culverts, roads & bridges).
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and buildings/grounds.
• Lead worker with equipment operation.
• Help maintain/repair paved and gravel forest roads, hiking trails, bridle trails, a primitive horse camp, bridges and culverts.
• Starting hourly pay of $22.60/hr with multiple pay increases over the first 4.5 years of service, ending at $25.77/hr.

• Formal education in arithmetic (fractions, decimals, percentages) and ability to read, write, and speak common English vocabulary.
• 6 months of training or 6 months of experience in operation of heavy construction equipment (e.g., 10 ton crawler, large cranes, 10 ton backhoe, 18 ton dozer, over 44,000 pound Gradall, truck-mounted excavator) and related safety practices.
• Valid commercial driver’s license.
• For Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry Wildfire Program positions only: must successfully complete the Basic Firefighter Introduction to Fire Behavior Course (S-130/S-190).
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
