HIGHLIGHTS:

• Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred)
• Active Ohio RN license (required at submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory, no training provided)
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
• No on-call requirement
• Shift: 36 hrs/week | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Every other weekend required

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination

• We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy 21-bed Renal Med-Surg unit specializing in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions
• This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination
• The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover
• Key Responsibilities:
  
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients
• Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs
